LIFE
LIFE HERE IS UNCERTAIN
LIFE IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND
LIFE IS NEVER PLAIN
LIFE IS ALWAYS UNPLANNED.
TO US LIFE IS A MYSTERY TRAVEL
TO GOD A FOREKNOWN PLAN
TO US A PLAN TO UNRAVEL
BUT ONE THAT HE HOLDS IN HIS HAND.
GOD KNOWS OUR OUTCOME
ON HIM WE CAN RELY
WE MAY FALTER AND FAIL SOME
BUT TRUSTING HIM WE MUST TRY.
WE CANNOT SEE THE WAY
OVER EVERY HILL OF GRIEF
THAT COMES TO US DAY BY DAY
BUT HE GIVES US SWEET RELIEF.
RELIEF TO KNOW HE CARES
THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE
OUR DAILY CARES HE SHARES
AND OUR SIN HE ATONES.
LIFE WITH JESUS LEADING
IS EVER SO SWEET
HE IS ALL WE ARE NEEDING
TILL WE REST IN HEAVEN AT HIS FEET.
MY LIFE TO HIM I GIVE
IN HIS PLAN TO TRUST
KNOWING I SHALL PROSPER AND LIVE
AND TRUST HIM I MUST.
FOREVER AND FOR ALWAYS
REIGN WITH HIM ON HIGH
KEEPING ALL MY DAYS
FAITHFUL AND ON HIM RELY.
LIFE CAN BE SWEET
LIFE CAN BE GRAND
AS I SIT AND LEARN AT HIS FEET
AND LIVE,HOLDING ON TO HIS HAND.

DAYS OF PAIN
Days of life here seem long
When pain dwells in the body
Time is an enemy when we aren't stromg
And problems come our way.
Often we wonder why we stay
Daily hurt takes its toll
On our minds every day.
There must be a reason.
Who knows if through our witness
Of joy through sorrow and pain
We can tell of His forgiveness
That helps us along our way.
Without the assurance of a better life
In heaven with loved ones dear
And escape from this world of strife
We would be people most miserable.
God has given us His promise sure
In our hearts of a better day
Nothing we do can that day asssure
Just in His name trust and believe.
Problems and pain will be over
We will know the reason why
We will share in the heavens glory
of His presence and rejoice evermore.
No more problems or pain
All time is no more there
Peace and love forever we'll gain
All we have is trust in Jesus' name.
His promises are true and sure
On His word we can rely
His witness in our hearts is pure
He will never leave or forsake us.
Though problems here of health
Bring us low at times
Our hearts are lifted with the wealth
Of joys and pleasures that await us.
We must not dwell on things of earth
We cannot change even if we try
Belief on Jesus gives a new birth
And changes our lives to good.
He walks beside us every day
Comforting ,helping and loving
Showing us light along our way
Strengthening through the hard times.
Rest and rely on His loving care
Ask Him to help you through the pain
He is always ready and willing to aid
Till heavens shore we gain.

THE ANSWER
THE ANSWER TO ALL OUR NEEDS
IN THIS WORLD OF CHAOS
IS NOT JUST LESS OF OUR GREED
NOT JUST LESS OF LOSS.
THERE IS ONE OVERALL NEED
TOO IMPORTANT TO OVERLOOK
IT IS FOUND UPON OUR KNEES
AND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK.
THE ANSWER TO ALL OUR NEEDS
IS AS CLOSE AS CAN BE
ONE ANSWER-- A HEART REDEEMED
BY THE PRECIOUS LAMB: YOU SEE.
NO OTHER ANSWER CAN SURVIVE
ALL THE TURMOIL OF THIS LIFE
THE TOUCH OF JESUS, RISEN ALIVE
CAN CLEANSE US ALL FROM STRIFE.
YEILDING TO HIM IS EASY TO LEARN
ONCE YOU KNOW THE RELIEF
OUR FREEDOM FROM CARE HE HAS EARNED
OUR ANSWER IS CLOSE--ITS BELIEF.
BELIEF IS THE ONLY TRUTH
TO ALL OUR NEEDS AND CARES
FROM ALL OUR CONCERNS TO BE LOOSED

NEEDING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
FEELING ONLY STRESS AND STRIFE
WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS? WHAT MAKES SENSE?
SO MANY TROUBLES OF OUR OWN MAKING
TWISTING THOUGHTS AND TROUBLED DOUBTS
OUR LIVES AND DREAMS WE'RE SHAPING
SOMETIMES WE JUST WANT TO GET OUT
ANSWERS DO NOT LIE IN OUR HANDS
SELF-SUFFICIENT, ALL- KNOWING HUMAN
REACHING FOR SUCCESS, MAKING PLANS
NEVER REALIZING THE REAL NEED OF MAN
ONLY A CONNECTION TO GOD ABOVE
GIVES MEANING TO THE LIVES WE LEAD
A REASON FOR EXISTING, A REASON TO LOVE
A GREATER PURPOSE TO LIFE WE ALL NEED
ONLY AS WE SURRENDER ALL OUR PLANS
LEAVING THEM BEHIND WITH OUR SINS
CAN SENSE COME AND WE UNDERSTAND
HOW FAR AWAY FROM RIGHT WE'VE BEEN
JESUS HOLDS THE PLANS FOR OUR LIFE
MADE BEFORE THE WORLD EXISTED
PLANS TO LEAD AND KEEP US FROM STRIFE
BUT YEILDING TO HIM WE HAVE RESISTED
YEILDING TO JESUS FREES US TO LOVE
GIVES US FORGIVENESS FOR WRONGS WE HAVE DONE
CONNECTS US TO THE WISDOM ABOVE
A WISDOM TO GUIDE AND DIRECT US ALONG
A NEW DIRECTION TO FOLLOW HE GIVES US
STRENGTH FOR EACH DAY TO FACE
PEACE IN OUR HEARTS AS WE TRUST
IN HIS WONDERFUL LOVE AND GRACE
REACH OUT TO JESUS, HE'S THE ONE TO TRUST
HE'S WAITING TO TAKE ON YOUR CARES
BUT ASK HIM TO HELP ,YOU MUST
AND ALL YOUR LIFE WITH HIM YOU MUST SHARE

It's raining outside today
Stormy clouds go racing by,
It matches the way my heart feels
Thinking of my life and I cry.
I cry for the words left unsaid
To those I loved now gone
I cry for the love I needed instead
Of the harsh words that left me alone.
When I give in to despair
There is only one solution to my pain
I have to remember there is one who cares,
And I hear a still voice say"I'm here again".
I'm here to ease the hurt
I'm here to help you through the fears
I want to give you peace unheard,
I care and I will always be near.
I will hold you when you cry
I send angels to guard unsteady steps,
Lift you up to joy as you rely
On the promises I whisper of my help.
Those loved ones you miss now
You will see again on high
They're waiting to hold you and how
They love you and understand your cries.
I will give you all the love you need
All your heart desires I will fill,
All you need is tiny faith as a seed
And believe in me, I love you still.
I loved you when they whipped me,
I loved you when they plucked my beard
I loved you when all friends left me,

Do not linger so long in despair
Trust in my promises and peace you will find
Solutions to all your problems can be found

Read the Word I left you-- hope abounds,
Just open the Word and read.

HOW OFTEN WE CANNOT BE AWARE
THAT ANGELS SAVE US FROM HARM
IT MUST BE A TRYING ASSIGNMENT
TO PROTECT AND GUIDE US EACH DAY
SENT TO ASSIST US EACH MOMENT
TO HELP ALONG LIFE'S WAY
DO WE TEST THEIR CARE WITH OUR SPEED
TO GET WHERE WE ARE GOING FAST?
AND NEVER SEE THE NEED
TO SLOW DOWN AND MAKE OUR LIVES LAST
A PURPOSE WE HAVE ON LIFES WAY
TO SPEAK OF GOD'S LOVE TO THOSE IN NEED
WE CAN'T BE TOO BUSY TO PRAY
TO SHARE JESUS AND HELP THEM TO RECEIVE
SLOW DOWN AND LOOK AROUND
TOO OFTEN WE'RE TOO BUSY LIVING
WE DON'T SEE THOSE LOOKING DOWN
WE DON'T TAKE TIME TO BE GIVING
SHARING AND CARING SHOULD BE OUR LIFE
TALKING OF JESUS' HELP ALWAYS
TELLING HOW TO HANDLE THEIR STRIFE
HOW TO BE HAPPY ON THEIR WAY
ONLY ONE WAY TO GET THROUGH LIFE
LEAN ON HIM FOR ALL YOUR HELP
HE'LL KEEP YOU FROM ALL THE STRIFE
YOU SHOULD JUST TAKE THE FIRST STEP
SLOW DOWN AND LET HIM GUIDE
SHOW YOU THE ONES WHO NEED TO TALK
